“PT” (Pastor Tom), a graduate of Biola University, a Christian Liberal Arts university located in La Mirada, California, earned and graduated with a B.A. in Biblical Studies, and is also a graduate of Talbot (School of Theology) Seminary where he earned, received, and graduated with an M. Div. Prior to his Masters, he studied under the tutelage of the late Dr. Walter Martin, author of the now famous classic, The Kingdom of the Cults in which he received his minor in Philosophy and Apologetics. Prior to coming to Brighton, Michigan, PT worked with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association Crusade Counseling; Chuck Swindoll’s Insight for Living ministries; Lay Witness: Evangelism; Campus Crusade For Christ; World Missions Director of MAP; L’ Abri Fellowship under the leadership of the late Francis Scaeffer; assistant to professors in the field of New and Old Testament Survey classes; Children’s Pastor; Christian Education Pastor; College & Young Adults Pastor, and Pastor of English Ministries for an English-speaking Korean congregation in southern California.

  

  

Scott Norlin - Youth Pastor

Scott, a graduate from Cornerstone University, a Christian Liberal Arts University located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, earned and graduated with a B.S. in Youth Ministries and Bible. Prior to coming to Brighton, Michigan, Scott worked at Davisburg United Methodist Church in Davisburg, Michigan as the Youth Director; was a short-term missionary youth pastor in Bosnia-Herzegovina; and worked at Grace Church in White Lake, Michigan as a Pastoral Intern where he served many different roles in the youth ministry and college ministry. Some of Scott's hobbies are kayaking, hiking, playing disc golf, hanging out with friends and family, listening to music, watching movies, photo adventures, camping, traveling and reading.
